Monthly SEO report for clients with Search Console

Analytics tells you how many visits came from Google; Search Console tells you what people searched for. A good SEO report for a client puts the two together and shows where the room to grow is.

What the Google section covers

  • Clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position for the month, against the previous month and the same month last year.
  • The searches that bring the most clicks, quoted as typed.
  • How much of the traffic comes from people who already know the business (branded searches) and how much from new customers.
  • Opportunities: searches where the site already ranks between 4th and 20th, with impressions but few clicks.

Recommendations you can check

Instead of «work on SEO», the report says something like «you rank 7th for “seafront restaurant”, with 5,200 impressions and 96 clicks», and ends with the figure that will show next month whether it worked. It also reads the client’s website: titles, forms, mobile speed and whether the Analytics tag is their own.

What each report contains

A PDF with six sections, written in English or Spanish (you choose when generating it), carrying your agency’s logo, colour and name:

  1. Executive summary
  2. Traffic and engagement analysis
  3. User behavior
  4. Traffic sources and geographic reach
  5. Content and conversions
  6. Strategic recommendations

The figures come from Google Analytics 4 and, if you connect it, Search Console. The text compares the month with the previous one and with the same month last year, and each of the three recommendations ends with the figure that will show next month whether it worked.

It can also read the client’s store (Shopify or WooCommerce), their email marketing (Mailchimp, Brevo or Klaviyo) and their CRM (HubSpot): each is connected once per client, and its figures appear in the report as that platform’s figures, never added to Analytics.

Data that is in none of those sources (calls, quotes, visits to a physical shop) can be added from a Google Sheet or a CSV, and the report takes it into account. Each client can also have their own branded live dashboard, shared by link or embedded in your website.

Questions

Is Search Console required?

No. It is optional, read-only and connected once per client. Without it, the report is written from Analytics and the website.

Are Search Console clicks the same as Analytics sessions?

No. They are measured differently, and the report never mixes them.

What permission does it ask for?

Read-only access to Search Console, through a connection separate from Analytics. MyReportify never changes anything in the property.
