Email marketing reports for clients: Mailchimp, Brevo and Klaviyo

Every email platform has its own campaign report, which the client never opens. MyReportify puts it into the monthly report, with its figures and an explanation, next to what happened on the website.

What it reads

  • Campaigns sent in the month and the previous month.
  • Delivered, unique opens, unique clicks and unsubscribes, with rates computed from the month’s totals.
  • The month’s top five sends.
  • In Mailchimp, the number of subscribers.
  • In Klaviyo, if the store sends it orders, the revenue Klaviyo attributes to campaigns.

Opens, with care

Apple Mail Privacy Protection opens emails on its own, so the open rate is inflated. The report knows it: it judges opens with care and leans on clicks. And visits from email in Google Analytics are a different figure: they are never added to clicks.

And the CRM: HubSpot

If the client uses HubSpot, the report adds how many contacts and deals were created in the month and how many deals were won, with their amount. They are not Google Analytics conversions: the report never adds them up or says one caused the other.

How it connects

  • Mailchimp and Brevo: with an API key, used only to read.
  • Klaviyo: with a read-only private key.
  • HubSpot: with a key that can only read contacts and deals.
  • The key is checked against the platform before it is saved.

What each report contains

A PDF with six sections, written in English or Spanish (you choose when generating it), carrying your agency’s logo, colour and name:

  1. Executive summary
  2. Traffic and engagement analysis
  3. User behavior
  4. Traffic sources and geographic reach
  5. Content and conversions
  6. Strategic recommendations

The figures come from Google Analytics 4 and, if you connect it, Search Console. The text compares the month with the previous one and with the same month last year, and each of the three recommendations ends with the figure that will show next month whether it worked.

It can also read the client’s store (Shopify or WooCommerce), their email marketing (Mailchimp, Brevo or Klaviyo) and their CRM (HubSpot): each is connected once per client, and its figures appear in the report as that platform’s figures, never added to Analytics.

Data that is in none of those sources (calls, quotes, visits to a physical shop) can be added from a Google Sheet or a CSV, and the report takes it into account. Each client can also have their own branded live dashboard, shared by link or embedded in your website.

Questions

Are any contacts or subscribers read?

From Mailchimp, Brevo and Klaviyo, no: only campaign figures (and, in Mailchimp, how many subscribers there are). From HubSpot, how many contacts and deals were created.

Is it a separate report?

No. Email is one more source in the client’s monthly report, next to Google Analytics.

Can I see several months?

Yes: on the client page, «All sources» puts email on the same month axis as Analytics, Search Console and the other connected sources.
