Google Analytics traffic drop alerts for your clients

A client telling you their site stopped tracking three weeks ago is the worst thing that can happen to an agency. With daily alerts, you find out first.

The three alerts

  • Tracking lost: the last two days have under 10% of the sessions of their average over the two weeks before. Usually a removed tag or a site change.
  • Traffic drop: the last week has 30% fewer sessions than the one before (only on sites with at least 100 sessions a week, so noise does not trigger it).
  • Conversions stopped: three days in a row at zero for a client that had at least seven in the previous two weeks. Usually a broken form or an unmarked key event.

One email, only when something is new

Every morning all your clients are checked and you get a single email with what started that day. A drop that lasts a week alerts you once, not seven times. Yesterday is not closed in Google yet, so it looks up to the day before.

And at a glance, on the dashboard

On the agency dashboard every client shows its change over the last 28 days against the 28 before, the biggest drops first, with a «Review» mark at 20% down or more.

What each report contains

A PDF with six sections, written in English or Spanish (you choose when generating it), carrying your agency’s logo, colour and name:

  1. Executive summary
  2. Traffic and engagement analysis
  3. User behavior
  4. Traffic sources and geographic reach
  5. Content and conversions
  6. Strategic recommendations

The figures come from Google Analytics 4 and, if you connect it, Search Console. The text compares the month with the previous one and with the same month last year, and each of the three recommendations ends with the figure that will show next month whether it worked.

Data that is not in Google (shop sales, calls, quotes) can be added from a Google Sheet or a CSV, and the report takes it into account. Each client can also have their own branded live dashboard, shared by link or embedded in your website.

Questions

Do alerts cost extra?

No. They are included in every plan, the free one too, and can be turned off in Settings.

Do they generate reports on their own?

No. They only alert you. In MyReportify nothing is generated or sent unless you ask.
